	Anahat Kaur (b. 1996) is an Indian designer and storyteller based in Berlin. With seven years of experience spanning branding, packaging, publication, and digital design, her work is rooted in visual identity systems, information design, and digital interface design that emphasize care, collaboration, and meaningful impact.


She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication Design with a minor in Contemporary Art Practices from the Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology. After spending a year at a commercial branding studio in Bangalore, Anahat moved to Basel, Switzerland, to pursue her Master’s in Design. The contrast between these two worlds and pedagogies continues to shape her practice—balancing intuitive expression with structured, decisive design.


Outside of client work, Anahat’s current inquiry explores more-than-human design and the ways design can mediate relationships between humans, non-humans, and planetary systems. She is particularly interested in themes of Sikh diasporic identity, migration, visual cultures that carry our stories, generational healing, intersectional climate justice, and feminism.

	Fondation Beyeler&#38;nbsp;︎︎︎

	2021
	Art direction, publication and editorial design with The Basel School of Design for Fondation Beyeler’s “The Lion is Hungry” exhibition. Due to Covid-19, our challenge was to bring the experience of the museum to the visitors in their home.&#38;nbsp;

We took a three-fold approach to the design and art direction of the catalog. We divided it into Art, Writing and the experience of the architecture. Our intention was to immerse the viewer into the art by using Riso prints and photography. Additionally, we created scratch ink postcards to add an element of interaction and encourage connection during isolated times.&#38;nbsp;
